Questions, answered

What's the difference between Reformer Core Collective and Mat Collective? +
Reformer Core Collective is all-access — Reformer, Mat and Yoga classes under one pass, at our lowest per-class rates. Mat Collective is a budget-friendly tier for Mat and Yoga classes (no Reformer). Rehab and other clinical sessions are booked separately.
Should I choose a package or a subscription? +
Packages are pay-as-you-go credits with no monthly commitment — ideal if your schedule varies. Subscriptions bill monthly on a 6- or 12-month term and give you the lowest per-class price. The longer the term and the more sessions per month, the more you save.
Is the price the same at every studio? +
Yes. We've moved to one simple price across our Stellenbosch Central, Stellenbosch Square, The Bosk and Durbanville studios — no more location-by-location tariffs to compare. (Hermanus and Welgedacht aren't on these tariffs yet.)
I'm an existing 10-pack holder. What happens? +
You can convert your remaining credits to Reformer Core Collective at reception until 31 August 2026. Pop in or email us and we'll sort it out.
I'm not sure where to begin. +
Start with the Find your fit guide above, book a single drop-in, or visit our full FAQ. You're always welcome to ask us in studio.

Core Concepts Pilates & Rehabilitation® Multidisciplinary Practice — Terms & Conditions

Updated: 19 June 2026

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

When purchasing, using, or accessing the services of Core Concepts Pilates & Rehabilitation® Multidisciplinary Practice, you are entering into a legally binding agreement. These Terms & Conditions govern your membership, use of the Octiv Fitness Platform, and participation in our studio services.

By completing the electronic acceptance process, clicking “Submit” or “Accept”, using any of our services, or otherwise indicating acceptance, you confirm and represent that you are authorised to bind yourself and any other party on whose behalf you use the service and/or software, and that you agree to be bound by all of these Terms & Conditions, including the waiver of liability, disclaimer of warranty, and limitation of liability provisions, to the exclusion of any other rights or obligations.

1. Getting started: membership, Octiv, and booking credits

This section defines the essential terms for accessing our services.

Booking Credits
The necessary “currency” for all services, secured in advance via Octiv to book Private Sessions and Group Classes. Booking credits are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.
Invoicing
Octiv invoices are generated directly by members at the time of purchase and are not managed or corrected by the studio.
Membership
An Octiv profile registered to the studio, which grants access to the Octiv app. The Membership remains valid even if a package or subscription expires, allowing members to purchase new services later.
Notifications
With an active Membership, members receive notifications and emails (including promotional ones) related to bookings, the studio, and Octiv. Members are responsible for managing their email preferences in the user-managed Octiv app; the studio is not responsible for missed important information due to changes in these presets.
Octiv
Our required online booking and payment platform where members must manage their profiles and purchases. Members must keep their contact information up to date.
Package
An advanced purchase of a set number of Booking Credits for Private Sessions or Group Classes.
Payment Method
All payments are exclusively online because they link directly to your Octiv profile, preventing delays or errors. This ensures a seamless membership experience with instant receipts, easy renewals, and uninterrupted access — without extra steps. While cash may feel simple, it does not integrate with our system. Online payments are the only way to guarantee your membership is updated immediately and accurately.
Subscription
A fixed-term package that rewards regular practice with a lower rate and is billed monthly for the full contract duration.

Marketing Communication

By becoming a member, you are automatically opted in to receive our studio’s marketing communication. These updates are designed to keep you informed about classes, packages, and studio-relevant news. You may choose to opt out at any time via your Marketing Channel or by contacting us directly. Please note: we avoid unnecessary messaging and will not spam you — our communication is limited to important, member-relevant information only.

2. Packages and subscriptions

Access to appointments is determined by the specific package or subscription purchased. Any classes booked using an incorrect package will be corrected, as the studio reserves the right to invoice members for any fee difference.

A Package is an advanced purchase of a set number of Booking Credits for Private Sessions or Group Classes. A Subscription is a fixed-term package that rewards regular practice with a lower rate and is billed monthly for the full contract duration — the cost is not a once-off payment covering the entire term.
